Mahamadou Salifou Assoumane aka Oussou was a dedicated leader and an integral part of Hoops4Kids since 2004. Over the years, Oussou played a vital role in organizing youth basketball events in Niamey, Dosso, and Tillabery, using the sport of basketball as a tool for education, empowerment, and community building. Beyond his work on the court, Oussou was deeply committed to fostering opportunities for young athletes, establishing strong relationships with youth centers throughout Niger and across Africa. Oussou’s passion, leadership, and unwavering dedication to the next generation will forever be a part of the Hoops4Kids legacy. “Gone but never forgotten.”
